"Original review: The staff is completely clueless! They make everything difficult. 3 different workers didn't know if I was enrolled in drive safe and save from the beginning when I signed up. No straight answers. I'm getting cut off when I speak and hung up on by corporate. Don't get a job in customer service if your customer service skills are literal trash. I will be looking to switch my insurance because state farm's customer service is 0/5 stars. Updated review in response to owner: Hi, thanks for the response, but honestly it still doesn’t reflect what really happened. When I first signed up back in April, I was told I’d get a discount just for having Medicaid. Nobody mentioned anything about being signed up for Drive Safe & Save. Months later, when I called to order the beacon, I was told the discount wouldn’t apply until I got the beacon and connected it to my account—so I figured I wasn’t even enrolled yet. Then I started getting different answers from every worker I talked to. One said I had to wait for the next billing cycle, another said I was already enrolled from the beginning. Honestly, I still don’t even know the truth because every person told me something different. I wasn’t mad about the $1.71 increase from the address change—I understood that. What frustrated me was the lack of clear communication and how I was treated. I’ve been cut off during calls, talked over, and even hung up on in the middle of talking. That’s not okay. And to make things worse, right after all this back-and-forth, someone tried to change my PIP selections and made me re-enter my Medicaid info, even though none of that needs to be updated until October. It felt like it was being done just to make things harder on me after I spoke up. I’ve never had a problem paying my bill—I just wanted straight answers and to be treated with respect. That’s why I decided to switch to a different State Farm agent. I needed someone who actually communicates and knows how to do their job the right way."

After reviewing all the messages on your account with my team, I understand how the conversation may have been a bit confusing, which was never our intention. Upon further review, I noticed there was a premium increase of $1.71 per month related to an address change on your account. Additionally, the Drive Safe and Save program was added on June 17th to help offset any premium differences resulting from the address update. This wasn't signed up for initially. And we can provide information from our underwriting department that shows this. I think when the discount was added the service girl did miss speak and tell you it was done initially but it had not been. If you’d like to discuss this in more detail, please feel free to reach out to me at your convenience. I’d be happy to clarify everything for you. Thank you, Natalie"

"Natalie and ger crew are awesome and do an excellent job at responding to me and handling any questions I have. The state farm app makes it easy to access my account and pay bills. I can easily and quickly show my proof of insurance with the id card feature on the app. Definitely worth coming in to speak with Natalie, shes extremely knowledgeable and is more than willing you help you out."

"Was driving without insurance for months after I was told I had car insurance from a member. They claimed they never got a picture ID , which I have evidence of them getting. I canceled my home owner policy with them due to the incompetence in March. I am still yet to get a refund check and am getting told “it’s in the mail” for months. It’s so bad I had to contact the BBB and the attorney general soon after that so I can get my refund. If you don’t want to go through all this trouble, STAY AWAY!"
